St. Andrews

Undeclared has graciously been invited to sing at St. Andrews church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota with the Great Northern Union chorus. 2006 marks the 20th anniversary of the Great Northern Union and their first four-part concert series which features several Luther groups, including Norsemen (an all male first-year chorus) and Undeclared.

The performance begins at 7:00pm. We hope to see you there!

Undeclared selected for 2006 ICCAs

Undeclared has been selected as a participant in the 2006 ICCA competition(!) to be held February 11 at the University of Illinois. This is Undeclared’s second appearance in the competition. The group took runner-up at the 2004 ICCA regionals. You can buy tickets to the quarterfinals on February 11 here. For more information, visit the ICCA website.

Auditions for ‘05 – ‘06

Undeclared will be holding auditions this week, on Wednesday and Thursday. We are looking for vocally talented (and vocal percussion-ally talented) guys who have a passion for singing and performing. Sign up on the kiosk in Jenson. Good luck!

Fest Fest III

Undeclared would like to officially announce Fest Fest III, scheduled for May 1, 2005. The show will be at Marty’s on the Luther College campus for the third consecutive year, and it is sure to be another standing-room only crowd. The group is working hard at polishing their seventeen (yes, 17) song set, and is eagerly anticipating the performance. Show your support for the group this Sunday, May 1 at Marty’s!

New member, upcoming shows

Undeclared is proud to announce the acquisition of its newest member, S.J. Saenz, a freshman Tenor. This puts the group at fourteen members, the largest since its inception in 2002. The group is working hard on a lot of new material for Fest Fest 3, for which the date has yet to be determined. Some of the new material may debut at some of the upcoming performances:

March 12: Stoughton, Wisconsin
March 28: Austin, Minnesota
April 20: Rochester, Minnesota

Be on the lookout for the date for Fest Fest 3, and start getting excited. It will be a killer show.

New members

Undeclared held its second-ever auditions Sunday night, and 35 very talented men auditioned for 5 available spots. Congratulations to new members Jake Christopher, Blake Nellis, Zach Booz, Sam Cook, and Jack Anderson. You can learn more about them and view their photos on the “Guys” page. Undeclared is looking forward to another awesome year, and rumors have been floating around that a full-length album is in the works. Stay tuned for more updates.
